Latest Flat Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors withstand 150 °C and 80g Vibration
With a life rating of 3,000 hours at 150 °C and vibration withstand of up to 80g, the series is poised to replace banks of costly wet tantalum capacitors.
Able to withstand operating temperatures from –55 °C to 150 °C, NHR capacitors are constructed with rectangular stainless-steel cases and laser-welded covers that prevent dry-out. These capacitors have a 3,000-hour life at full-rated conditions and withstand up to 80g vibration to meet the most demanding military, aerospace, industrial, and down-hole applications.
Type NHR is a spin-off of the Flatpack series of capacitors that have 30 years of proven applications in military and aerospace. The NHR Flatpack technology offers exceedingly long life at high temperature for critical applications that previously have been the domain of wet-tantalum capacitors. Their high-capacitance density at high voltage and temperature solves many of the problems faced by engineers designing circuits for extreme environments. The series is designed to replace large series-parallel banks of wet tantalum capacitors with fewer components, saving our customers valuable space, weight, and cost.
Potential applications include any high-performance circuits that require large capacitance bulk storage and filtering at high temperature. These include power supplies and inverters for avionics, military electronics, and such energy industry applications as down-hole recording devices.

Type MXT Series Metallized Polypropylene Film Capacitor, designed to suppress conducted electromagnetic/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) at a circuit’s power input. These capacitors are perfect for use in harsh environments having met the demanding 85/85 THB (Temperature, Humidity, Bias) test requirements. Class X2 capacitors, like the MXT, are typically connected across the AC input to prevent interference from spreading through power lines or other devices on the same circuit.

Y2 Class Interference Suppression Capacitors Meet 2,000-Hour 85/85 THB Tests, AEC-Q200
Type MYH series of Y2, EMI/RFI suppression capacitors are designed for harsh environments. The MYH series is AEC-Q200 qualified, meets a 2,000-hour THB (Temperature, Humidity, Bias) life test, and has applications in motors, AMR (Automated Meter Readers), UPS, power supplies, charging systems, and appliances.
